Black Cherry Liqueur


Established in 1985, Lurgashall Winery liqueurs are a reincarnaion of Davies Wines that has heritage as far back as 1855!

Black Cherry liqueur is traditional english countryside recipe made from carefully selected blend of sweet and sour Black Cherries, vodka and sugar. This liqueur is also know as "Creme de Cerises Noires".

2013 IWSC Bronze Award Winner: Clove and spice alongside cherry, cranberry and raspberry on the nose, the palate is a rich mix of cherry, strawberry, liquorice, damson, cloves and cranberries. "A rich, sweet liqueur style, not too sweet, with honey and brambles." said team leader Simon Woods.

Appearance:   Deep, mauve colour

Nose:              Clean, intense fruity aroma

Taste:              Medium sweet, crisp, notes of almond, balanced & fruity

Finish:             Balanced, and complex combining sourness, sweetness and acidity with hints of chocolate

ABV:                17%

500ml Glass bottle, with cork stopper with a black wax seal

Suitable for vegetarians and vegans

No artificial colourings or flavourings

Allergens: contains no sulphites

Suggestions:   Over ice

                        Perfect with a cheeseboard

Cocktails:        Singapore Sling, Bramble, Kir, Kir Royale, as a long drink with lemonade, coke or add a dash to your gin & tonic

Cooking:          Add a slug to trifle, drizzle over ice cream, pancakes or add zing to your fruit pies
